FnF's MMA instructor did us proud at the most prestigious Jiu Jitsu tournament in the United States-The Grappler's Quest. It was an amazing and inspirational performance that we will remember for a very longtime.

Darren's first match-up was against Sim Go of Cobra Kai, who was #1 in the United States for 140 and under and favored to win. Darren shut him out with an 11-0 domination. Darren showed a superior base, great guard passing, great takedowns, and an altogether better game plan. This match was a complete upset.

His final match-up was against Ulysses Gomez also from Cobra Kai. This match was also a complete domination. Darren controlled the action and eventually took his back and twistered him (a technique in which a "spinal lock" occurs.)
