Fight & Fitness Competes at 2010 Pan Ams!

This past Thursday saw the beginning of the 2010 Pan American Jiu-Jitsu Championships (Pan Ams) in Irvine , CA. Established in 1996 the Pan Ams continues to remain one of the most prestigious competitions in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.

This year Fight and Fitness sent out Kyle Vontellerop, Tony Nguyen, Cricket, Charles Hood, Ricky Vargas, Darius and Chris Cariaso to test their skills.

Everyone competed hard and gained alot of experience from this event. Highlights of the action saw with Kyle Vontellerop walking away with Bronze in his division , and Chris Cariaso : In the middle of a division of over 50 competitors, defeating 4 of his opponents before losing by 2 points in his 5th match.

Congratulations to Chris, Kyle, Tony, Charles, Cricket, Ricky & Darius for their excellent work. With the Mundials rapidly approaching in June, The Jiu-Jitsu team is definitely going to be staying busy.
